The company was founded in 1988 by two Electrical/Electronic Engineers under the name “S.PR.EL Components” with primary activities:
- the provision of electronic services and components to the industrial sector.
- the design, installation and commissioning of electronic control systems both for industrial as well as domestic applications.
A year later in response to growing demands from clients and the market in general, the company added to its primary activities the marketing, sales & support of test and measurement instruments as well as educational / training products.
By 1992 the company was renamed to SPREL Ltd. and was already a well established Test & Measurement equipment and Educational/ Training product supplier, handling larger projects.
Currently, the company having established itself as a leading player in the local market for the supply of Educational/ Training equipment and Supplies, Test & Measurement Instruments, Data acquisition systems, Specialised optical other research and Testing equipment, is engaged in the following activities:
